SUMMER READING!
1. LIBRARIES! Visit a public library to relax and read in the cool air conditioning, access the Internet, get a library card, and join the summer reading programs to win prizes!

2. Barnes and Noble in the Town Square Mall offers events and a summer reading program for grades 1-6. Read any 8 books this summer, log them in the B&N Summer Reading Journal, return the journal to the store, and choose a free book from a selected list of top titles. 3. TumbleBooks and BookFlix both allow students to read along with books online.
Tumblebooks Library includes a regularly changing selection of titles. Login with the username: vestalhills and password: books
BookFlix pairs a fiction picture book in video form with a nonfiction ebook to read independently. The username and password are both vestalhes.
4. SORA App Use your school network login to access hundreds of books online through soraapp.com. The first time students login, they will need to search for Vestal school district, enter their school email (firstname.lastname@vestalcsd.org) and then sign in with their network username (firstname.lastname) and password (v+ last 4 numbers of ID). Books need to be borrowed, and then can be read or listened to right on the computer.
