Course Articulations
Were your course articulations complete in time to be published on your Partner Page and utilized for course registration?
Participants must have a final high school transcript demonstrating completion of high school (non-degree requirement) and a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. Students with a final high school GPA between 1.75–1.99 can also apply to Verto for holistic consideration. Students in this range may still be eligible to earn admission to select Direct Transfer institutions.
International Students
All undergraduate applicants must demonstrate that they meet English language requirements BEFORE they can enroll at the University of New Haven through Verto Education.
What determines if a student is a Non-Native English Speaker?
A potential student must satisfy one or more of the following conditions:
They are a citizen of a country where English is not the official language (though they may not be born / living there)
They have submitted transcripts and/or graduated from a high school where English is not the official language of instruction.
How does a Non-Native English Speaker qualify for admission?
Students applying to attend Verto Education who are Non-Native English Speakers will have to demonstrate English language proficiency to qualify for enrollment in a degree program. Qualifying tests and scores are as follows:
Test Minimum Required Score
IELTS International English Language Testing System 6.0
TOEFL Test of English as a Foreign Language 70
DET Duolingo English Test 100
Verto welcomes participants ages 17 to 22 years old who meet eligibility requirements. Most participants are between 18 and 20 years old. Minimum age requirements vary by abroad location, with some locations only available to participants who are 18+ due to in-country laws. The “Details about” section on each location page for that location’s specific age requirements.
Participants must have a valid passport in order to participate with Verto. All passports should be valid for at least 6 months beyond the end of the experience.
Those who are not a U.S. passport holder may have different visa requirements for entry into the host country. It is the responsibility of the student to research the immigration requirements of the host country and secure the appropriate visa.
The Verto fall semester deadlines (subject to change) are as follows:
Prague - May 15
Florence & Seville - June 1
London - June 22
Buenos Aires - July 1
Each summer we will connect with our Direct Transfer partners to go over their Partner Page, eligibility requirements, partner prompts, and audience strategy for the coming cycle. If you have any edit requests outside of our summer sessions, connect with your Direct Transfer Account Manager.
Partner prompts will be updated July 1 - August 15. Change requests may be made and recorded outside of this window, but will not be implemented until then.
We encourage you to outreach students that appear in the lead reports we provide or that submit Verto Direct Transfer Applications to your institution. Here are templates you can reference to cultivate your leads.
Verto is working to build out additional live events for partners to participate in; keep an eye on our Partner Events page!
