Sharing

Sharing plays an important role in building a positive classroom community. The Greeting helps classmates know the names of others; however, the Sharing provides opportunities to understand the people behind those names.  The Sharing allows students to:

• Practice and reinforce speaking, listening, and thinking skills

• Get to know one another and find commonalities

• Develop important social and emotional competencies
