Recycling and Waste Reduction

Paper

Dedicated paper recycling bins are located around the college and in the majority of classrooms.

Single use plastics

The cafeteria has made significant progress in reducing waste and is now free of single use plastic. Bamboo cutlery, plant based food trays and paper bags have replaced bulkier plastic items. Individual sauce sachets have been replaced with large sauce pumps. 

Food waste

Food waste bins are now available in the staffroom and cafeteria kitchen, with the aim to provide more around the college in future.

Pens

Pen recycling is now available for staff in Reprographics.
