In October 2020, Varndean Sixth Form College, working with FE Sussex, jointly pledged commitment to the FE Climate Action Roadmap which is a county-wide series of actions to set colleges on a path towards achieving net zero by 2030 in respect of our carbon emissions and to be a leading college in sustainability. This collaboration with other local colleges in Sussex is the first example of a group of colleges to adopt a national roadmap for climate action.
