Once per week, each class has a session of dance during their afternoon active playtime. The children learn balance, rhythm, coordination and timing through creative movement. They use mats, bells, ribbon sticks, scarves, and the balance beam just to name a few. At the end of the program, parents are invited to attend a Dance Showcase.

Once per week, each class has a session with Amazing Athletes. The class will introduce our children to a variety of sports and physical activities, such as Volleyball, Soccer, Basketball, etc. This will provide our students an opportunity to discover and explore sports in an engaging and age appropriate manner, in hopes they discover sports they enjoy and can pursue as they grow.

Getting children excited about books and reading is one of our primary goals here at VRECS. The children have the opportunity to visit once a week and borrow of one of our many books. It’s a beautiful and inviting space with lots of enriching materials available for all the children to enjoy.
