When I was assigned to write my philosophy for the Educational Technology course, it required a lot of time. Not because it was a difficult assignment, but because I knew my beliefs, what I wanted to say, and I wanted it perfect. It was a struggle putting my thoughts into sentences. Plus, you can't just say what you believe, because you have to support your thinking with evidence. I even found my original portfolio (three-ring binder), from seventeen years ago, and referred to it as guidance for reflecting. It's amazing to see the hard proof of how much education has changed, including the work produced.
