Veterinary Science
The vet science Career Development Event (CDE) seeks to effectively prepare the students for the expectations of the animal health care and services. This event blends the testing of skills and knowledge required for careers in the animal science career pathway. Students competing in this event will learn and be tested on their knowledge of animal breeds, common parasites, veterinary tools and equipment as well as displays of practical hands-on animal handling procedures.
