Blazer Marching Band

The Blazer Marching Band will consist of students in grades 9-12. This class meets during seventh period and has regular after-school rehearsals during the fall. Ninth grade students will attend school in the junior high building and will ride a bus to the senior high for band class at the end of the day.

Students will continue to improve their musical skills in addition to learning how to march & perform on the football field. There are summer rehearsals and regular afterschool rehearsals for the marching band. The marching band will compete in regional competitions, march in parades, play in pep rallies, and more!

Students are required to participate in all-region & all-state auditions when applicable. Students are also required to participate in solo/ensemble assessment. In addition to our winter and spring concerts, students will be required to participate in other music activities as needed.
