7. Holidays and weekends 

Cultivation of the College community is central to the UWC experience, so students can travel home only at a time that does not interfere with academic and other college obligations. Unless there are exceptional circumstances, students should not return home in the very first month of the program, as this is a crucial period in the immersion process. 

The College asks for parents’ support in making this process easier. Please note that during the examination period, students are not allowed to leave the College. 

School Breaks

All school breaks are listed in the School calendar. The College observes religious holidays in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as national holidays. School attendance policy does not allow early departures or late arrivals and therefore we kindly ask you to organize your traveling arrangements in advance during breaks so as not to collide with classes.

Please note that in addition, all students coming into BiH will need to follow the local regulations at the time.
