Housing
All residential students are provided with adequate, modest accommodations within walking distance from the school. Students are accommodated in residences in different parts of the City of Mostar. All of our students share a room with at least one or more roommates of the same gender or are accommodated in non-binary rooms if preferred, in line with the common practices of all UWC colleges. Students’ residential life is supported and supervised by the residential staff - “house parents” - full-time employed and living in the residence. The role of the residential staff can be very demanding, and we, therefore, expect all of our students to show the utmost respect toward the house parents and follow the residential rules and regulations. In addition, the “house fellows”, "residential mentors", and faculty members with residential duties are an important part of the students’ residential life and pastoral care. Faculty on residential duty organize study sessions, meetings with students, co-curricular activities, screen movies, etc.
Students have residential duties they are expected to perform regularly and rules and procedures they need to follow. At the same time, they are always encouraged to take initiative and implement their concepts and ideas that may help enrich their residential community. Only through the full engagement and goodwill of all the individuals involved in the residential life can this be a memorable experience for every member of the community.
Family members and friends cannot be accommodated in the College residences during their visits. Students may check out from the residence for a self-organized trip during school breaks, by submitting parental approval to the College management (link below).

Catering
All residential students at UWC Mostar are provided with three meals a day, all served at the College Canteen. The residences are equipped with kitchens or kitchenettes where students can prepare snacks and additional meals.
The College menu considers students’ dietary preferences and discusses catering-related matters with the Student Food Committee.
