Information Architecture
Building on our storyboards, the information architecture diagram outlines the app's navigation structure, highlighting key sections like goal setting, progress tracking, rewards, and user preferences to support a gamified goal achievement system. It reflects how our persona, Sophia, would navigate through the app, ensuring an intuitive and seamless user experience. This step was informed by our previous research and design concepts, helping us organize content logically. It also guided what came next by providing a clear framework for structuring our wireframes and refining the overall flow of the app.
The information architecture diagram represents the app's structured workflow, guiding users through goal-setting and progress tracking. Users begin at the Home page, where they can view their progress and receive activity suggestions. The Goals Page organizes goals into daily, weekly, and monthly categories. In the Add Goal section, users can select goal categories such as social, academic, health, and receive goal suggestions. In addition to this, the Profile section allows users to customize settings, import calendars, adjust goal preferences, and visualize progress . This structured flow ensures a personalized and engaging goal-setting experience.
