Teaching Philosophy

As a nurse educator, I view nursing education as assembling a puzzle where the foundational corners—critical thinking, clinical competence, compassion, and professional integrity—frame the journey of knowledge and practice. These corners represent the essential elements that support the development of nursing expertise and ensure excellence in patient care.

Drawing from my diverse background in critical care nursing, research, and academic instruction, I guide students in connecting theory to practice. I believe in fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore, question, and grow. Just as each puzzle piece contributes to the whole, every learning experience—whether a classroom discussion, a clinical simulation, or a bedside interaction—builds toward a complete understanding of nursing knowledge.

My approach emphasizes the integration of evidence-based practice, ethical decision-making, and interdisciplinary collaboration. By encouraging students to engage with complex challenges and develop their unique frameworks for practice, I aim to inspire them to become both skilled clinicians and compassionate leaders.
