Spanish 1 schedule:
Week 1 (March 30-April 3): Get back in the duolingo habit. Students have individual accounts and the goal is 500XP for the 4th quarter. Students should send me an email when they get their points.
Week 2 (April 6-10): Watch a short video about the verb estar and complete google classroom assignment,
Week 3 (April 13-17): ¡La comida! Watch short video about popular foods and complete the assignment in google classroom telling me what they like and don’t like (Me gusta...y no me gusta…)
Week 4 (April 20-24): Continuing with la comida! You don’t have to leave los Estados Unidos to practice Spanish. Video on ordering food in Spanish then place your order in the google classroom assignment.
Week 5 (April 27-May 1): Review verb estar and Señor Wooly video. Again, watch the videos then complete the short assignment in google classroom.
Week 6 (May 4-8): ¡Escribir! This is our final writing assignment for the year. If this seems overwhelming, think of it as answering the conversation questions we practiced all year (the list is included in your google classroom assignment). Tell me as much as you can about yourself in Spanish. Use all the questions we learned previously and add one sentence to tell me what foods you like and dislike.
Week 7 (May 11-14): This week is dedicated to working with students to make up any missed work and/or make corrections to improve their grade.
