Residential Carpentry I

The first semester comprehensive course is designed to instruct students in the basic knowledge and skills required for construction of residential housing and structures. Construction takes place outside of

the building on school property.

Residential Carpentry II

This course is a continuation of Residential Carpentry I. It is a comprehensive course designed to instruct students in the basic knowledge and skills required for construction of residential interior structures, including building cabinetry.

Partnership with SENT Topeka

The students in the program during the 2020-21 school year completed framing a home on site at WRHS. The house was then moved to the Hi-Crest neighborhood. Scroll the pictures above to see the progression of the move.
