If you are interested in how your strengths and interests connect to work activities, consider taking the Agile Work Profiler. Once you have identified your top Agilites, use the Tools and Resource tab to research careers in a variety of industries that utilize your Agilites.

The Labor Market Information Services (LMIS) Division is responsible for collecting, analyzing, reporting, and publishing data on economic activities for the state of Kansas. Labor market information can help data users make informed decisions for a variety of purposes, including career planning and preparation, public or private workforce investments, employer recruiting plans and business investment decision making.

PLAN YOUR HIGH SCHOOL COURSES
Track your credits toward graduation. Be sure to ask your counselor about courses that can be taken for college credit (dual credit) and work-based learning opportunities that will help you narrow your career choices before graduation.
Create your Game Plan in Naviance by clicking About Me; then Postsecondary Plan, then Game Plan.
Access the Course Planning Guide for a full list of classes and graduation requirements.
Track your progress toward graduation in Naviance. Log in to your account; click on Courses; click Manage Course Plans. Use the Pathways pages to find elective courses related to your career interests.
Get a headstart on your career plans by taking college courses while you're still in high school. Check the Kansas Board of Regents Excel in CTE page for a list of online courses that are approved for state-funded tuition. If in-person learning is more your style, Find Your Program at Washburn Tech and talk to your counselor about attending during the school day.
