Teacher Helps Students Communicate
I assign teams & partners; I rarely say, "find a partner/team"
I do not do group grades; teams do compete with other teams, but one person's grade does not affect another person's grade in Mrs. Harris' classroom.
I do not allow one student to do the work for another student.
I help teams figure out leadership roles so the following types of students do not exist in Room 106:
a dependent do-nothing
a-do-it-all
a do-a-whatever-I-say-boss
