I was married to basketball here at Cheney for 17 years.

I coached 8 years as high school girls' assistant, 8 years as middle school girls' assistant, and then 1 year back to the high school level at the district's request. This spanned from 1989-90 school year to the spring of 2006.

I am proud to have been part of the first-ever girls' basketball team to make it to a state tourney. I am proud to have been a part of the teams that continued to fight their way back to the state tourney for 6 straight years.

The memories and times with these players and coaches will always be dear to my basketball-loving heart.
