3. Enter your USD 259 log in credentials (This does require the verification process.) Students use a different URL to get assignments, collaboration spaces, & other items.

The challenges use the videos housed inside Lumio's Training section. To find those trainings, go to

Description: There are premade lessons in the Lumio library. This challenge allows you to explore. Remember these are meant to enhance curriculum and learning not replace. They are editable to match your needs. The goal is to not just find one and assign to students. The goal is to find one that enhances learning.
There are support pages if needed during your exploration time:
Organizing, searching, copying, & managing lessons
Using Editing mode
Finding free resources to use in your lessons
K-5 USD 259 Journey lessons can be found here. These would need downloaded to your computer, then uploaded to your account to use in deliver mode or online versus software.
Directions: Click on the Lumio Library icon at the top of the Lumio log in page. Just explore! You could type in a units topic or skill that is coming up. This search feature is not as robust as a google search engine, so normally starting broad versus specific is a better route. Find one lesson, add it to your library, and edit it to meet your needs.
Elementary Additional Option, you can explore the Journey's link above. You will NOT be able to preview the files inside Google drive. If you do not have SMART Notebook downloaded to your computer, you can not view the files either. Once they are uploaded to Lumio online, you can preview the work.
Finally, everyone needs to Fill out the Challenge Accomplishment Form and Share your new lesson Brag Board. Click here if you need to know how to Share Your Lesson with Teachers
Description: The tools do not make the change in learning. It is HOW those tools are used. Making sure to create a culturally relevant and responsive classroom is key to this process as well.
Directions: Please note, the Class ID parts of the video are not active during the recordings (Unless they say otherwise!)

This s a great place to start with SMART Lumio or learn how they have changed from just the software and boards they once were. Learn how to starting building a lesson or resource.

Complete one of the activities the videos cover: uploading software, PDF, adding videos, graphic organizers, or manipulatives. 4. Fill out the Challenge Accomplishment Form and 5. Upload your work to the Brag Board. Your work can include what activity you did, or perhaps a screen shot of your library now in Lumio.

Create one of the activities the videos cover: game based activities, its dashbaord, an assessment, or audio instructions. 4. Fill out the Challenge Accomplishment Form and 5. Upload your work to the Brag Board. Your work can include what activity you created, what you learned about how to create games, perhaps a screen shot of a game you created or its link for others to try!
Description: SMART has training videos built into the website. After learning (or knowing) the set up and creation, this section engages learners.

This challenge uses the videos found in the blue ❔ START section or click here for their YouTube playlist of these videos. Watch the entire playlist's six videos. 3. Create one of the engaging activities from the playlist: individual handouts, whitebaord, group workspace, equation editor, Desmos graphing calculator, or PhET intearactive simulations. 4. Fill out the Challenge Accomplishment Form and 5. Upload your work to the Brag Board. Your work can include what engagement tool works best for you and your students.
Description: Explore the DELIVER and SHARE training sections. In the Deliver section, you will Connect student devices and capture teachable moments as you deliver your lesson. Learn how to SHARE lessons with students & colleagues.

Upload student examples to the Brag Board. Please make sure to not include any student information.
