Step 1: Log in to Nearpod from portal.usd259.net.
Step 2: Find the Nearpod Library from the left navigation menu or click this link: https://nearpod.com/t/search?t=100
Step 3. Explore, and preview the 22,000+ premade editable lessons, activities, and videos that align with an upcoming target/scale. Step 5: Fill out the Challenge Accomplishment Form then upload an artifact to the Brag Board. Your artifact on the brag board can be a quick description or link to the lesson you found and saved.

Description: In this session participants will be challenged to spark student engagement by delivering a LIVE Lesson or Student Paced Nearpod lesson.
Directions:
Step 1: Log in to Nearpod from portal.usd259.net.
Step 2: Find a lesson from the Nearpod Library or create your own lesson in Nearpod to deliver to students using the videos below as support.
Step 3: Decide how you want students to interact with your lesson. You can launch a Nearpod lesson to students using three mode options, knowing it will work in any scenario or device landscape. Click the link to learn more about each mode.
Live Participation; Live Participation allows teachers to control the pace of the Nearpod while students participate on any device in class or through video conferencing. Teachers view real-time progress and results as they teach.
Student-Paced: Share asynchronous lessons with students in Student-Paced mode. Students move through lessons at their own pace, any time, from anywhere. Teachers can view progress in real-time to monitor student understanding.
Front of Class: Project a video even when students aren't joining from their devices. Instead, pre-determined checks for understanding can be used as discussion prompts, or students can record their answers.
Step 4: Fill out the Challenge Accomplishment Form then upload an artifact to the Brag Board. Your artifact on the brag board can be a quick description of your Nearpod Lesson experience and an image of your students working on the lesson if possible.
Description: In this session, participants will have a hands-on experience on what it looks and feels like to participate in a student-paced lesson inside of Nearpod while learning the basics about Nearpod.

Step 2: Actively participate in the lesson by advancing the slides using the blue arrows and completing any prompts.
