A note from a parent/guardian is required for special requests. Notes can be sent in with your child at any time, and will be handed in to the Main Office by the child's homeroom teacher. You may also email a special request to your child's teacher, and to the Main Office (cnelson@upsmailbox.net). If we do not have a note from the parent/guardian, we will not be able to honor the request.
Examples of when a parent/guardian note is required include the following:
For ALL absences, late arrivals and/or early dismissals
ANY changes to the dismissal plan
Being picked up by someone other than a custodial parent
If a child is going to another child's home (in this instance, notes should be sent by BOTH parents to ensure both parties know what is going on)
