All policies and provisions of the BOE Policy #6142.10 "Internet Safety and Technology" must be followed (please see the page titled Internet Safety and Technology Policy for the full policy).
Students and Parents are reminded that when the device is connected to your home Internet connection, it is not subject to District web filtering and monitoring of student use of the device is highly encouraged.
Students will use their Chromebooks at home for school-related purposes ONLY and keep their Chromebooks in a safe location.
Students will keep their Chromebooks clean with no attached stickers, no writing, or other items that might deface or damage the Chromebook, the screen, or other components.
Students/parents will immediately report all malfunctions, damage, loss, or theft of their Chromebook computer by emailing Mr. McFarland at pmcfarland@upsmailbox.net
In the event of damage, theft or loss, the parent will be responsible to reimburse the school district the cost of any Chromebook that is lost, damaged beyond reasonable use or beyond its value, abandoned, missing, stolen, or cannot be returned to the district in accordance with this loaner agreement.
Upon request, the Chromebook will be returned to the Upper Pittsgrove School District including all accessories, parts, and/or chargers.
