A Flipped classroom is an active way of learning. It consists of providing students with the material beforehand and applying it in the classroom. This allows students to learn the material by associating the information interactively in the classroom. An essential component of this method is close collaboration between the student and professor, as well as commitment from both ends.
In a flipped classroom, the professor does not give direct instruction. Instead, they become facilitators who set up the content and strategy and provide a welcoming learning space that students can explore. According to Lai et al. (2018), flipped teaching requires additional time and demands several challenges for teachers, including dramatic changes in the practical operation of activities and instructional patterns.
