Congratulations to Ms. Gemma Marie C. Baltazar for successfully defending her thesis proposal defense.
Ms. Baltazar's thesis proposal defense was held last 9 March 2022, via Zoom. Her approved thesis title is "Codeswitching in Asynchronous and Synchronous English Language Teaching and Learning." The study is all about understanding the codeswitching as a translanguaging strategy among the teachers and students in a non-traditional classroom setting especially, in the blended learning setup being implemented as a response to the emerging remote education in the Philippines.
We are also grateful for the support of her adviser Prof. Nerissa Zara and her thesis panel members Dr. Romylyn Metila and Prof. Ana Katrina Marcial.
With the success of Ms. Baltazar's thesis proposal defense, we hope to inspire all MALLE students to continue their MA LLE journey. Wishing all the best for all MA LLE students!
