The Master of Arts in Language and Literacy Education (MA LLE) curriculum, requires students to complete:
Core courses = 21 units of DLLE program
Electives = 3 units
Thesis = 6 units
*Only DLLE graduates may be allowed to "continue" to MA LLE provided they meet the following requirements:
GWA of 2.0 or better in DLLE
[Complete admission application to MA LLE and then] Passing the one-time Qualifying Exam for MA LLE

Take note that the maximum units per sem is 6 units unless the student is explicitly allowed by the PC to enrol in more.
The student may opt to enrol in only 3 units per sem if that is all he/she can reasonably handle, considering the context and/or circumstances.

DETAILS OF MA LLE COURSE OFFERING PATTERN PER BATCH/ COHORT
[Note: This cohort-based offering assumes that the student does not have any deficiencies in any of the remaining courses that are considered prerequisites before pursuing LLE 300 (Thesis).]
1st sem batch of entry
SEM. 1 (1S 23-24) LLE 290
SEM. 2 (2S 23-24) LLE 280 + elective
SEM. 3 (1S 24-25) LLE 300 (upon passing all three previous courses and having a GWA of 2.0 or better)
SEM. 4 (2S 24-25) residency
(continuously enroll in residency as long as the thesis is not yet successfully completed but take note of MRR)
2nd sem batch of entry
SEM. 1 (2S 23-24) LLE 290
SEM. 2 (1S 23-24) LLE 280 + elective
SEM. 3 (2S 23-24) LLE 300 (upon passing all three previous courses and having a GWA of 2.0 or better)
