Our experience in the Philippines would not be complete without our Student Buddies. They are Marinelle, Fergus, Zeth, and Jia, students from the tertiary education department who always accompany us for our daily activities. I was also introduced to their friends and we often had lunch together in the canteen while talking about exciting topics. We enjoyed spending a lot of time with them, trying things that were new to us like trying typical Filipino food, being taught words in Tagalog and doing our assignments together.
