This is the first campus i visited on the first day of campus tour around manila. De La Salle University has an amazing art museum inside the building. There are a lot of 3D arts from Philippines artists, one of them is the famous artist Abdulmari Imao. Not only 3D arts, there are also 2D arts of envelope pictures. We were explained the meaning and history of almost every art displayed in the museum. Finally, in the end of the museum tour, we visited an interactive art corner where we can do many activities, such as origami folding, arranging rubics, reading, and writing on a piece of paper and stick it on the wall. Such a great experience!
Welcome to the main campus of FEU: FEU Manila! We arrived when it was raining, so with our tour guide, the 2nd year nursing student, Paul, we experienced the building-to-building tour with umbrella in our hands. The campus is very big and aesthetic. There are a lot of art piece inside, such as Sarimanok mosaic made by thousands pieces of broken glass bottle, paintings made by art students, and many more. There are also relief paintings of Philippines history of colonization and Paul asked us to search for the sign of the artist on the relief (I answered it correctly ^^). We also served with a very delicious chicken sandwiches at the cafetaria and taking pictures with the principal.
University of Philippines (UP) is the #1 public university in Philippines. Our coordinator, Mrs. Dena is an alumni of UP, so she explained almost every part of the campus when we were on the tour. It was such a really big campus where all the facilities provided for the students (we gasped when we were told that this campus has its own mall). We took a group photo in front of the campus icon.
Here is also the well-known university, Ateneo de Manila University. With a large and shady area, Ateneo de Manila is a comfortable campus for us to visit. We visited the physics department and experienced trying out some of the physics tools on display, such as the anti-gravity mirror, and entered the physics laboratory. We also visited the biology department and saw the preserved animals and plants on display. Ateneo de Manila has a Catholic religious school and education for priests.
We also visited the sister campus, FEUR Marikina. Here we experienced to entering the classes and greet the students who were studying in class, from pre-school students to high school students.
