Opening Ceremony

On the first day, my receiving university held an opening ceremony for us. The opening ceremony was held in the meeting room on the main building of FEU Roosevelt Cainta, attended by the Dean, Mr. Victor Tabuzo; Mr. Carlos; Mr. Dominic; and of course our SEA-Teacher Coordinator, Ms. Dena S. Culaba, with some of the high school students. Along with our friends from Universitas Bengkulu, Putri Andhini and Sayla Dhiyaul Auliya, participants that came earlier than us, they gave us the warmest welcome and even gave us a totebag with a tumbler inside it!

Not only welcoming us, the ceremony also have the agenda of send-off their 3 students, participants of SEA-Teacher Program, to my university, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. After that, we were served with pancit canton or fried noodles and puto, Philippines steamed rice cake. The food was great and we had a fun talk with our friends.

After that, Mr. Dominic invited us to tour the campus. He was a great guide! We visit all of the buildings in FEU Roosevelt Cainta, starts from the main building for collage students with some classes for senior high school students, elementary school building, junior high school building, hospitality building (there are kitchens, cafe, bar, and even a room that designed as hotel room for practicums!), school canteen, and gymnasium.
