To the frustrated creative writer,
One of the things that I have always found fascinating is the idea that opening up to strangers is much easier than opening up to the ones you already know. This applies to me the same in letters, For some reason, it does actually feel freeing, this is because strangers like you don't have an ounce of image constructed about me, so there is no need to perform and act in a way that I would want them to see me or how they expect me to. In a way, we become more free to express ourselves and our emotions. This also applies vice-versa, I don't have expectations about you, the person I'm sending this letter to. The string connecting us is solely our experiences and feelings. Therefore, we both become more creative and expressive, there is no limitations set for us. We don't have to be bothered by our construction of words, we dont have to please each other with which had the better writing or what writing would impress each other's taste. It's all about what we want to convey now, all about what our heart says. So it feels more intimate and raw, stemmed from creativity. To me, vulnerability is found in the unfamiliar. So maybe, writing this is somehow a manifestation of my creativity because it feels liberating.
Your creativity is all yours. Let it loose to a stranger like me.
With all the love,
Rhamcess
