The AA (Studio Arts) program accepts applications for incoming students who are
Non-UPCA/T incoming freshman with the following status:
Has never attended college; and,
With a senior high grade average of 80 or better.
Shiftees and transferees from other Associate in Arts programs:
Shiftees within UPCFA with
A general weighted average (GWA) of 2.25 or better; and,
A good scholastic standing*.
Shiftees within UP Diliman with
30 units earned; and,
A minimum GWA of 2.75.
Transferees from other UP units with
30 units earned; and,
A minimum GWA of 2.75.
Transferees from other schools
33 units earned; and,
A GWA 2.00 or better.
The BFA (Painting) and BFA (Sculpture) programs accepts applications for incoming students who are
Incoming freshmen with UPCA/T qualification
Shiftees within UP CFA with
A general weighted average (GWA) of 2.25 or better; and,
A good scholastic standing*.
Shiftees within UP Diliman with
30 units earned; and,
A minimum GWA of 2.75.
Transferee from other UP units with
30 units earned; and,
A minimum GWA of 2.75.
Transferee from other schools
33 units earned; and,
A GWA 2.00 or better.
Bachelors degree graduates as second degree applicants.
All applicants to all degree programs are required to submit a portfolio of works. It is submitted in a packet and the guidelines of submission can be found here.
Additional specific requirements submitted through the UP CFA Undergraduate Program Admissions online application form for applicants with the following status are:
Shiftees within UPCFA and within UP Diliman:
True copy of grades (TCG).
Transferee from other UP units:
True copy of grades (TCG); and,
Certificate of good moral character.
Transferee from other schools:
Certified photocopy of Official Transcript.
Bachelors degree graduates as second degree applicants:
Certified photocopy of Official Transcript.
Certificate of employment, if employed.
* Students are in good scholastic standing if at the end of the semester they obtain a final grade of 3.0 or higher in at least 75% of the total number of academic units in which they registered —from the UPD General Catalogue 2014.
