Course Demand and Thesis Topic and Preferred Adviser Surveys are being conducted at least a month before the enrolment period.
Procedure for Course Demand
1) Summary is being checked and collated by the EnE admin and submit to Program coordinator (PC) for their reference
2) The PC will use the survey as reference to what subjects can be offered for the coming semester.
3) Subjects to be offered (finalized) will be uploaded to CRS.
Procedure for Assigning an adviser
1) Fill out the "Thesis/Dissertation Topic and Preferred Adviser Survey
2) After the deadline, the EnE admin will collate & summarized the result and submit to the Program Coordinator (PC)
3) The PC will evaluate the result based on their track, research topic and preferred adviser. Once decided, the PC will email the faculty for their approval to be assign to the student as their adviser (there is possibility that your preferred adviser is different from your assigned adviser due to those 3 factors mentioned aboved)
4) Once approved, PC will email the student about the assigned adviser with the attached acceptance form.
5) the student will email or meet with the assigned adviser to discuss further their topic.
6) if both advisee and adviser agreed, the student will fill out the acceptance form and then send to their adviser for their signature.
7) once signed, the student may email the EnE Admin for the signature of EnE Track Head and EnE PC.
