Eligibility/ Requirements: Legal Aid of Nebraska serves people with limited resources. When you apply for services, you will be asked about your household income and assets, citizenship, demographic information, and your legal issue to determine if you qualify for services under one of our many projects and programs.

Eligibility/ Requirements: Persons with chronic or temporary disabilities and their families. Both adults and children are eligible for services.

About: Representation for people with disabilities in order to protect their rights and to obtain the disability insurance benefits that they deserve now and in the future. They help in the process of applications and appeals, handle all of the paperwork and phone calls that you receive from the Social Security Administration during the processing of your disability claim, evaluate your claim, help you file all the necessary paperwork to apply for benefits, and guide you through all levels of the Social Security appeals process to prove your eligibility for disability benefits. Refugee Advocate Program

About: Advocacy and case management services for refugee minors in the juvenile justice system and their parents. The advocate acts as a resource and liaison between the justice system and the refugee, reminding the minor and his/her family of any appointments and actions that need to be taken
