Ensure clear delivery of learning objectives (course, individual section), education objective, and prerequisites & course outcomes
Pre-class materials implemented -- done in a way to cultivate interest without significant technical details
Implementation of active learning
Use of statics concept inventory (SCI) -- five SCIs were identified, and then course evaluation problems were revisited to ensure inclusion of these SCI problems.
In addition, from the same author of SCI, students’ common errors were identified. They match well with my findings with slight differences in details (probably because of differences in perspectives (ME Vs. CEE).
