14-hour availability windowsÂ
At start of RAP, Ready Reserves must check CCS once and acknowledge any assignment. The assignment can report no earlier than 3 hours after start of RAP
Not contactable outside RAP
Only assigned open pairings with check-in times no more then 3 hours after the end of RAP
RAP/s for following day must be published by 1500
A Ready Reserve shall only be assigned a stand-by period that is scheduled to terminate no more then 4 hours after the end of the RAP
Auto-released at end of RAP if not given assignment
14 hour RAP (versus 12) in order to preserve our 3 hour callout (versus 2 hr callout at all other carriers)
RAPs may be extended no more than 4 times per month
If extending their RAP, Scheduling must call the Ready Reserve at least 2 hours prior to the end of the RAP to notify
If extended, a Ready Reserve will receive three hours of ADD PAY, above their Reserve guarantee
Those who volunteer to have their RAP extended will be called before those who do not (volunteers receive 3 hours ADD PAY)
