Thank you to everyone who has found a way to get involved this year. We have many clubs and activities running in our building, and our Halloween Bash had a fantastic turnout. If you are looking for volunteer opportunities, please check the PTO updates below.

We look forward to seeing many families in person at our Progress Conferences on November 7th, but we also want to remind you that these conferences are not required. We have more students than we have available slots. If you do not currently have any concerns about your student's school day, you can always email the teachers for feedback. This allows parents with more immediate concerns to be seen in person, in our limited number of spots.

High School Football Games

High school football games are great events for junior high and elementary students to attend to start seeing what high school life is like. Junior high and elementary students coming to a football game at either NCHS or West must be accompanied by an adult (18 or older). Junior high or elementary students without an adult will not be allowed to purchase a ticket to enter the stadium. We also ask that students not bring bags, sports balls, or other toys to the game.

Parent Pick Up

Just to remind you: Parents need to remain in their cars for Parent Pick-Up; Students being picked up must exit the BACK of the building, and parents will circle in their cars. Move as far forward as possible, which allows 10-15 students to "load" into cars at once. Please do this EVEN if it is raining or cold. This is very efficient and takes less than 10 minutes to pick up all students if everyone works together. It is also important that you arrive no later than 4 p.m. as staff will not supervise past 4.

“I just don’t want to today.”

“Can you pick me up early today?”

We understand that some things are beyond anyone’s control, but if we can help in any way, we would be happy to. “Success is earned one class period at a time. Start by showing up!” We love to see your kids in our classrooms, hallways, cafeteria, and offices. Let’s work together to help make sure this can happen.

Picture Retake Day - November 5th

This is only for students who missed picture day or NEED a retake; not all students will take their picture again!

Halloween @ Evans

Halloween Reminders:

Students may NOT wear costumes, masks or costume make-up to school on Halloween.
Students may NOT eat outside of the cafeteria, including candy (especially the day after Halloween)
Outside food and drink is not allowed to be delivered and/or eaten inside Evans.
Students are encouraged to wear their favorite Fall Flannel or holiday t-shirt

No Outside Food or Drinks

Students cannot bring in or have delivered (by parents OR a company) outside food and/or drink. This includes Starbucks/Coffees in the morning. Students entering the building with these items will be asked to dispose of them. Unfortunately we also do NOT allow parents to come in and eat with their student. Thank you for supporting this rule.
