Eagle Nation Families,
Welcome to October! We have so many reasons to celebrate at Evans - our Baseball team WON STATE for the first time, we had our first-ever school talent show, and our students are getting involved in our clubs and activities. We are fortunate to have a diverse student population and staff who are committed to meeting their needs both in and out of the classroom.
This month, we will start to have various music performances, boys' basketball tryouts, and our first student activity night of the school year. Later this month, you will receive information regarding student progress conferences. Progress conferences are not required for families. If your student is struggling academically, you should be hearing from their team of teachers with more specifics. Spots are limited for conferences, but please don't hesitate to contact our school with any concerns at any time.
If you would like to get more involved, we will have both PTO (6 p.m.) and Promise Council (4:30 p.m.) meetings next week on Tuesday, November 14th. If you can't attend, there are volunteer opportunities throughout the year!
Respectfully,
Kimberly Martin-Boyd
Principal
