Location Sensor - Student Guidance. This is primarily the responsibility of the teacher/educator. With the guidance or assistance students have a visible way down the path of learning to follow. This also represents knowing where your student is on their path.
Pen - Connecting the Dots. The pen on this robot reflects the ability to connect the major "dots" of learning. Connections are key in learning and allow for the scaffolded learning style I use often.
Front Eye - Exploration. As someone who regularly practices constructivism in my classes, having the desire and ability to explore and learn new things is important. Technology education
Electromagnet - Concept Grasping. Similar to the electromagnet on this robot students will sometimes not know they have discovered something until they are right on top of it.
Down Eye - Vision. With everything going on around them students need to focus on the thing directly in front of them at times. This ability to focus and address the issue at hand is integral to learning the topic at hand.
Bumper Sensor - Student Barriers. Many students have some barrier that inhibits their learning from being seamless. Putting out those "bumpers" allows students to protect themselves as they move onto a new discovery of learning.
Wheels - Continuous Learning. The wheels on the robot represent that learning is cyclical. The cycle never ends and we are constantly building on previous knowledge.
