For my (re)design project, I want to figure out how I can get the most out of the feedback and assessment I use in my classroom. I have already reserved myself to realizing I am not a quiz, homework, test type of teacher. But how is my feedback and assessment working as it is presently constructed?
In order to find out what could benefit my students and my classroom the most I had to come up with a way to find out how I was already doing. I asked students to only let me know what type of class they were in but gave some choice response questions as well as open ended. I asked about things I was doing but also wanted to know about their other classes. I know I am not the perfect model of assessment so I wanted to know what worked for those students and what didn't whether it was in my class or it wasn't. I also wanted to know if they always understood what the feedback was they were getting from their peers or teacher.
