The AAF 2016 IT SKILLS (instructor: Prof. Giuseppe LENTINI, giuseppe.lentini@uniroma1.it) aim to inform students about some IT basics that are of considerable importance for people working in the humanities and, in particular, in Classics (operating systems, character encoding, text processing, web pages, markup languages, etc.).

The activities include 4 classroom sessions of 2 hours each in the second semester, with the following timetable:

Days: April 22 and 29; May 6 and 13 

Hour: 18.00-20.00

Place: Aula XXII classroom

Attendance is compulsory, only one absence allowed.

After the four classes, the students, following the instructions given in class, will work on a small project to be presented to the teacher. If the project is sufficiently good, the 2 cfu will be obtained.
