The Cultural and Creative Sector has been negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and national lockdowns. In particular, the fields of human creativity linked with intangible CH and performing arts, crafts and practices were most severely hit by social distancing measures. It is now critical for this sector to capitalise on this momentum by breaking up dominant unsustainable practices and accelerating the upscale of new valuable actions. In the framework of the proposed partnership, Spoke 2 will trigger the development of cuttingedge solutions (e.g., supporting digital transition, new forms of entrepreneurship and creative professionals, etc.) addressed to improve the current scenario and favour sustainable research, production, and management practices in the field of performing arts, music, audiovisual media, design, and fashion, craftsmanship, and support of linguistic heritage, linguistic diversity and multilingualism. Synergies with Spokes 3 and 6 will also be activated in relation to the development of methodologies for digital mapping and valuing of cultural heritage.
