From January 2025 I am a Full Professor at the Department of Brain and Behavioral Sciences, University of Pavia (Italy). I am the coordinator of competitive research grants (including two ERCs) totaling over €2.5 million and the Head of the ReMap Lab. I am also the Head of the Cognitive Psychology Section at the IRCCS Mondino Foundation.
I currently serve as a member of the Executive Committee of the European Society for Cognitive Psychology (ESCoP) and as the Vice Coordinator of the PhD Program in Cognitive Brain Sciences at IUSS Pavia.
I received a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Milano-Bicocca (Italy) in January 2016. In the years preceding my tenure-track appointment, my research activity led me to join several research groups abroad (for a graphical bio in space and time, see below):
- the Cognitive Neuropsychology Lab of Ben-Gurion University (Israel);
- the Zurich Center for Integrative Human Physiology (Switzerland);
- the Centre for Brain and Cognitive Development of Birkbeck University (UK);
- the Department of Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence of Tilburg University (Netherlands).
