F.1 . Location and Site
F.1.1. The library is accessible from any point of activity on campus.
F.1.2. It is strategically planned and functionally designed to allow future rearrangement and expansion.
F.2. Space Requirement
F.2.1. The size of the library meets the standard requirements considering the enrolment and future expansion of the library.
F.2.2. The reading room can accommodate at least 10% of the school enrolment at one time.
F.2.3. Space provisions of books, shelves, aisles space between shelves, tables and chairs and other furniture meet required standards.
F.2.4. There is space provision for special services such as photocopying, exhibits and displays.
F.2.5. The head librarian’s office is readily accessible.
F.2.6. There is a space provision for the staff (e.g. staff room, lounger, etc.)
F.2.7. Where it is feasible, ramps for the physically disabled are provided.
F.3. Furniture and Equipment
F.3.1. Library furniture are standard size.

F.4. Physical Provision for Reading Comfort
F.4.1. The library is well-lighted, properly ventilated and acoustically suited for quiet reading.
F.4.2. It is free from noise, aesthetically attractive and properly maintained. The library atmosphere is conducive to learning.
F.5. Security Control
F.5.1. The charging desk is strategically located so that the traffic and work flow in the reading area are properly controlled.
F.5.2. Control and security measures to safeguard the library are maintained. A fire extinguisher and local fire alarms are available.
