The Upper Moreland Intermediate School Music Department offers all students in grades four and five the wonderful opportunity to discover the joys of learning how to play a wind, percussion, or string instrument. Studies have shown that students who play instruments beginning in elementary school and continuing into high school score higher on standardized tests, have better thinking abilities and understand mathematics, science and geometry better than those who don't study music. Above all, students will be given the opportunity to experience a lifetime of fulfillment through musical expression.

Saturday, August 15, 2026 - Music & Arts Center Rental Form Completion Due for timely Rental Instrument Delivery

Week of September 8, 2026 - Lesson Schedules Distributed 

Monday, September 14, 2026 (tentatively) - Lessons Begin for first year players!
