PhD Resource Hub

Welcome to the PhD in Social Work program at the University of Minnesota’s School of Social Work! Established in 1946, our program promotes knowledge and skills in theory development and community-based research. In addition to structured mentoring experiences, our program emphasizes interdisciplinary research, teaching preparation, and professional development.

The School of Social Work's (SSW) PhD Resource Hub is a central repository for program materials, helpful information, policies, and procedures for our PhD students. If you'd like to see something added to the Hub, please let Andy (Graduate Program Coordinator) know.
