University of Minnesota Women in Medicine is a community of UMN medical students and professionals united in the advancement of anyone who is disadvantaged by their gender, including individuals who are cisgender, transgender, gender-non conforming, or identify within a gender minority. WIM strives to empower medical students in their professional pursuits, advocate for gender equity, and share in education. WIM welcomes all students passionate about our mission of promoting gender equity in medicine, irrespective of sex and gender identity.
