Project Chance

What is Project Chance?

Project Chance is a healthcare outreach collaboration between the College of Pharmacy and Medical School that provides blood pressure checks and healthcare education to people experiencing homelessness at the Harbor Lights homeless shelter in downtown Minneapolis.

Our Goals:

  • Encourage underserved patients in Minneapolis to take an active role in their health

  • Provide supplies such as toiletries, bus passes, and winter clothing items

  • Build lasting relationships with the Minneapolis population experiencing homelessness through continuous weekly interactions
