Lab Visitors
A lab visitor is defined as an individual that will be working in the lab for less than one month and will be handling chemicals or biological samples.
Forms
Fill out and sign Lab Usage Agreement (download here).
Fill out and sign Visiting Researcher Agreement (download here).
If the visitor is a minor (under the age of 18) the individual and the lab are required by law to complete additional paperwork. Please see Working with Minors (students under 18 years old)
Send all completed paperwork to CBS HR at CBSHR@umn.edu.
Training
Short-term visitors are not required to take the full online DEHS training due to the timeline of their visit.
Short-term visitors ARE required to take lab specific training from a qualified individual in the lab.
Access
Visit the Cluster office (140 Gortner) or email Ann Yetter (ayetter@umn.edu) to gain space access.
