Before you get started developing content, consider all that you need to do to begin promoting a new program.
Work with the subject matter expert to develop content for your page. This process starts by first have them describing and discuss the program. (See promoting a new program.)
Next, ask the subject matter expert to share whatever documents they have on the program.
Ask any necessary clarifying questions and begin drafting content.
Share initial content with stakeholders in a Google Document. This makes it easy to suggest edits and add comments. For student-facing content: If time allows, it's a good idea to share this content with students for their perspective.
Finally, share a draft of the content on the website in layout before it is published live on the site.
