We hope you’ve had a great year of learning, whether in school, in extracurriculars, in your own studies at home, in your 4-H Club, and beyond! An important piece in your learning & leadership is how you share it. We hope you & your favorite project(s) can join us this spring & summer at our various 4-H project learning showcasing events, where you’ll perform & present to a caring, adult judge, and celebrate your amazing projects with others.

April 1 - project registration opens for ALL projects/exhibits

April 4 - May 15 - Virtual Office Hours for showcase questions on Zoom:

May 15 - Project registration in FairEntry CLOSES for ALL projects/exhibits

May 15 - 4-H member enrollment deadline; Animal ID deadline; Livestock Quality Assurance Training deadline
May 15th - If not able to attend June 7th judging, then submit Absentee/Virtual Judging Request Form by May 15th (or ASAP on a circumstantial basis)
May 22nd - 4-H project drop off for youth being judged virtually or absentee (to be displayed at County Fair)
June 7th, Saturday - 4-H Project Entry Day

We will provide activities, refreshments, and waiting areas; but please bring additional activities to pass the time if you like!

All youth actively participating in 4-H are asked to be enrolled by Thursday, May 15th, 2025.

Be sure to save your username & password! You'll need it for project registration!
For any 4-H youth who would like to show an animal in a County 4-H animal show AND be eligible for the State trip, your animal must have 4-H certified identification submitted by May 15th, 2025. This is a statewide deadline, with no exceptions. By completing this process, you ensure health, safety, and fairness at practices, meetings, and in competition.
Visit the Animal ID website for Minnesota Extension (extension.umn.edu/4-h-projects/4-h-animal-id), which outlines the required items and documentation needed for the animal identification process for each species.
Starting Tuesday, April 1st, register your 4-H project(s) in FairEntry (hennepin-mn.fairentry.com)
FairEntry our online registration system for all showcase events! Anything that gets entered, judged, and displayed at a 4-H county show should be registered in FairEntry! It is mobile friendly and integrated with 4-H Online, so it makes for a family- and staff-friendly experience.
Project registration closes on May 15th for all General Projects and Exhibits.
We would love for you to share your photos (or short videos) of your project learning and showcase event experiences with us! Whether in the middle of an activity, shrugging to blooper, OR posing with your finished product - we’d love to see you!
