Again this year, Hennepin County 4-H will use paper registration for State Fair exhibitors & projects. Printed User Guides will also be available for pick‐up at 4‐H Tent anytime throughout the fair. 

State-Fair- qualified projects are required to accept or decline your trip & complete your State Fair registration by or before 10:00 PM on Saturday, June 14th. You are welcome to exhibit more projects at the Hennepin County Fair, but remember you can only accept 1 State Fair General Project. 

For State-Fair- qualified projects from Hennepin County Fair,  you are required NO LATER THAN 10:00 PM on Saturday, June 14th to:

• Accept or decline your general project State Fair trip

• Complete your State Fair registration packet & submit payment

• Make a plan to take your project home from the following options:

  • Saturday June 14th, 9:00pm - 9:30pm from the fairgrounds

  • Sunday June 15th 9:00am - 10:00am from the fairgrounds

  • Projects left at fair will be brought to the Extension Office for you to pick up. Staff will contact you to arrange your pickup.

  • Reach out to 4-H Extension Staff if you have questions or concerns about project pickup.

4-H Staff will be available to answer any and all questions for you. Both completed forms & payment are required at the conclusion of these sessions. Check or credit card are accepted at the County Fair. Confidential need‐based scholarships are available ‐ inquire with 4-H Staff.

In the event of an emergency where a 4‐H’er is unable to attend the State Fair, Hennepin County 4‐H staff must be notified ASAP.
